The late Tuan Haji Shorbaini Abdul Ghani was the driving force behind the establishment of Perembun (M) Sdn. Bhd., a company he founded in 1991 as the first major milestone in his entrepreneurial journey in the construction industry. With more than 35 years of hands-on experience, he was deeply respected for his integrity, foresight, and unwavering commitment to quality.

He began his career with Pembinaan Sri Nakhoda, where he undertook a range of small to medium-sized construction projects that shaped his practical understanding of the industry. Through his leadership, Perembun grew into a reputable construction firm known for delivering reliable, well-managed projects.

His academic achievements reflect his lifelong dedication to professional growth. He obtained his Diploma in Building from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 1978, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Building in 1990. In 1999, he furthered his expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Integrated Construction Project Management. He also completed an external course in Group Problem Solving conducted by the International Centre for Strategic Thinking, University of Western Sydney–Nepean, Australia.

Tuan Haji Shorbaini’s legacy lives on in Perembun’s work culture and values. Hajjah Zainun Othman Fuad is the Co-Founder and Director of Perembun (M) Sdn. Bhd. Her early career at Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri provided her with a strong foundation in administration, governance, and organizational management skills that proved vital in shaping Perembun’s internal structure.

With broad experience in human resources, finance, and office administration, she has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s operations and ensuring disciplined, efficient management. Her emphasis on integrity, accountability, and clear processes continues to underpin Perembun’s work culture.
